SchoolStream Releases New Software for Elementary School Report Cards

Elementary Report Card module becomes the latest addition to SchoolStream's web-based software for improving school district administration. SchoolStream's software suite includes modules to help manage school district job applicants, professional development of staff, staff directories, school district calendars, electronic routing of forms, school district web sites, school district procurement, and the new module for elementary report cards.

Troy, Michigan - January 26, 2006 - SchoolStream today announced the immediate availability of Elementary Report Card, a new software module which enables the design and completion of standards-based report cards for elementary grade levels. SchoolStream now provides a comprehensive suite of eight integrated software modules to assist school districts in improving administrative efficiency.

"In developing Elementary Report Card, we worked with several districts to provide software that would enable them to design and create standards-based report cards reflecting their needs down to the grade and building level," said Jon Golm, Vice President of Operations for SchoolStream. "Ease of teacher use as well as well as powerful administrative reporting abilities were key features desired by our customers."

Design features for Elementary Report Card include control of the number of reporting periods, grading keys, narrative and comments, and monitoring of attendance, special services and other critical data needed to properly evaluate student progress. All of this vital information can be easily analyzed through the software's reporting system.

As with all of SchoolStream's software modules, Elementary Report Card is deployed as an ASP solution over the web, so that anyone with access to an Internet browser can utilize its rich features. As a result, deployment is quick without requiring additional hardware, software, or extensive in-service training commitments by school districts.
